ADHD Skill Building Groups
Our ADHD Skill-Building Groups are evidence-informed, structured programs designed to help children and teens with ADHD develop practical, evidence-informed skills to better manage attention, emotions, organization, and daily demands, at home and at school.
These groups combine engaging lessons, explicit teaching, hands-on activities, movement, discussion, and guided practice to help participants better understand how ADHD affects their brain and daily functioning, while building strategies they can use right away.

Next Steps After Submitting This Registration Form
1. Complete Intake & Consent Forms
You will receive a welcome email from Jane (our secure booking platform) with instructions to access your online profile (for new families). You will also receive a separate email requesting completion of the Intake & Consent Form, including credit card authorization.
2. Submit Deposit to Confirm Registration
Your child’s spot is confirmed once the Intake & Consent Form is completed and the non-refundable deposit of $275 has been paid. An invoice will be issued through Jane.

3. Receive Your Child’s Group Schedule
Once the deposit has been processed, your child’s group schedule will be added to your Jane profile. You will receive an automatic email notification when this is complete.
4. Parent Orientation Details
You will receive an automatic Jane notification and a Google Calendar invitation with the virtual link for the Parent Orientation, scheduled for Friday, January 9, 2026, as well as for the Mid-Program Parent Check, scheduled for February 21, 2026
5. Final Program Payment
The remaining program balance of $1,650 is due no later than 12:00 PM on January 7, 2026.

Is parent involvement required?
Yes. Parent involvement is a core component of this program. The Parent Orientation and Mid-Program Parent Check-In are designed to help parents understand the skills being taught and how to support their child’s progress outside of group sessions.What if I cannot attend the Parent Orientation or the Mid-Program Parent Check-In?
Please inform our office as soon as possible by emailing admin@childpsychologicalservices.caThere are no make-up sessions if you miss the parent orientation and/or the mid-program parent check-in; however, the group facilitator is available by email to answer questions and provide guidance related to missed content.
What if my child cannot attend one of the classes?

This group is designed for children and teens with ADHD who benefit from explicit instruction, structured practice, and group-based learning. If you are unsure whether this group is a good fit for your child, please contact our office to discuss suitability.Does my child need a formal ADHD diagnosis to participate?
A formal diagnosis is not required; however, the group is specifically designed for children and teens who demonstrate ADHD-related challenges (e.g., attention, impulse control, organization, emotional regulation).Are groups divided by age?
Yes. Groups are organized by age to ensure content is developmentally appropriate.How many children are in each group?
Groups are intentionally kept small to support individualized attention, active participation, and meaningful skill practice. Each group includes no more than 10 children.Is the program covered by insurance?
Many extended health benefit plans provide coverage for this program under psychological services. Coverage varies by provider and plan. Receipts are provided for reimbursement purposes.What is the cancellation or refund policy?
Due to the structured nature of group programming, refunds are not provided once the program has begun. Parents receive a complete set of program handouts and resources at the start of the program, and each child is provided with their own resource booklet.
